Flashback: Costa Rica April 2008

Way back before the incident in May, Sofia and I took a week long vacation to Costa Rica. This was by far one of the bes vacations I have had with my baby. This trip was full of relaxation, Yoga, days at the beach, days high up in the mountain, crab bites and strong dranks! Wonderful trip. Here are some pics...

And then we treated ourselves to a massage...as if Costa Rica was not relaxing us enough...



While we were chilling on the beach, we were adopted by a stray dog. With huge testicles. So we nicknamed him, BALLS.

Anyone that knows Sofia, knows that she hates bugs and creatures. She is pretty afraid of them. So she went and bought these shoes called 5 Fingers to wear and keep the bugs away from her. I was napping on the beach and next thing I know she gets bit by a crab. But only during the ONE time she wasn't wearing the shoes!

Everyday we found some new shit. And once we found this place we stuck to it.

We went here a few times. everything was cool- and there was even some wisdom hanging.

I really enjoy eating Ice Cream on vacation....love it.

Then Sofia surprised me with a stay at the most beautiful place, hands down, i have EVER stayed in my life. She found the spot. Which was a beast to get to. I drove there , and once I got the mountain part of the drive, I stayed in 1st gear the entire drive up. And it was rough. Bumpy and scary. But once we made it we were breathless. That is our room in up top. Waaaaaaay up there.

This was our view out of the window. We were so high up- clouds were flying by the window. I thought it was smoke or fog at first. But then I realized that it wasn't.
